Friendship is a village in Adams County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 698 at the 2000 census.

Friendship is located at 43 °58 18 N, 89 °49 7 W (43.971758, -89.818718) GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.4 km (0.9 mi ). 2.3 km (0.9 mi ) of it is land and 0.1 km (0.04 mi ) of it (3.26%) is water.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 698 people, 257 households, and 157 families residing in the village. The population density was 302.8/km (787.4/mi ). There were 294 housing units at an average density of 127.5/km (331.7/mi ). The racial makeup of the village was 94.27% White, 0.43% African American, 1.72% Native American, 2.15% Asian, 0.14% Pacific Islander, 0.57% from other races, and 0.72% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.15% of the population.

There were 257 households out of which 29.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.0% were married couples living together, 10.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.9% were non-families. 34.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.31 and the average family size was 2.97.
