Albion is a town in Whitman County, Washington, United States. The population was 616 at the 2000 census. In the 2004 US presidential election, the precinct containing Albion and surrounding unincorporated areas cast 54.15% of its vote for Republican George W. Bush [1]. Albion was officially incorporated on March 4, 1910. Albion is located at 46 °47 33 N, 117 °15 2 W (46.792412, -117.250513) GR1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.0 km (0.4 mi ), all land. As of the census GR2 of 2005, there were 632 people, 274 households, and 166 families residing in the town. The population density was 642.8/km (1,663.4/mi ). There were 315 housing units at an average density of 328.7/km (850.6/mi ). The racial makeup of the town was 93.51% White, 0.16% African American, 0.49% Native American, 0.65% Asian, 1.46% Pacific Islander, 1.79% from other races, and 1.95% from two or more races.
