Spangle is a town in Spokane County, Washington, USA. The population was 240 at the 2000 census. The name is from William Spangle, early pioneer.

Some people believe that Spangle is where Butch Cassidy (Robert Leroy Parker) passed away from cancer in 1937, but the place and date of this individual's death remains unresolved.

Spangle is located at 47 °25 50 N, 117 °22 37 W (47.430641, -117.377083) GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.0 km (0.4 mi ), all land.

Spangle is south of Spokane on US Route 195, an important north-south highway.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 240 people, 99 households, and 66 families residing in the town. The population density was 243.9/km (625.6/mi ). There were 113 housing units at an average density of 114.8/km (294.6/mi ). The racial makeup of the town was 98.33% White, 0.42% Native American, and 1.25% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.50% of the population.
