Davenport is a city in Lincoln County, Washington, United States. The population was 1,730 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Lincoln County GR6. Davenport was officially incorporated on June 9, 1890. Davenport is located at 47 °39 4 N, 118 °9 6 W (47.651157, -118.151627) GR1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.9 km (1.5 mi ), all land. As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 1,730 people, 707 households, and 436 families residing in the city. The population density was 442.4/km (1,143.3/mi ). There were 763 housing units at an average density of 195.1/km (504.3/mi ). The racial makeup of the city was 97.17% White, 0.29% African American, 0.98% Native American, 0.29% from other races, and 1.27% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.25% of the population. There were 707 households out of which 30.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.1% were married couples living together, 9.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.3% were non-families. 33.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
