Haslet is a small town in Tarrant County, Texas, United States, settled between 1880 and 1883. The population was 1,134 at the 2000 census.

Haslet is located at 32 °57 35 N, 97 °20 24 W (32.959733, -97.340028) GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 19.4 km (7.5 mi ). None of the area is covered with water.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 1,134 people, 388 households, and 330 families residing in the town. The population density was 58.4/km (151.2/mi ). There were 402 housing units at an average density of 20.7/km (53.6/mi ). The racial makeup of the city was 94.27% White, 1.15% Native American, 0.62% Asian, 2.82% from other races, and 1.15% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7.41% of the population.

There were 388 households out of which 43.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.6% were married couples living together, 5.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.7% were non-families. 10.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 3.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.92 and the average family size was 3.15.
