West Wyoming is a borough in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,833 at the 2000 census. By 1995, it was clear that the economic stability and structure of the borough was seriously declining.

West Wyoming is located at 41 °18 50 N, 75 °51 6 W (41.313780, -75.851640) GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 9.4 km (3.6 mi ), all land. A small section of West Wyoming is commonly referred to as "Toy town" because many of the houses were built exactly the same on the exterior, just making it look like a toy city.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 2,833 people, 1,183 households, and 822 families residing in the borough. The population density was 301.3/km (780.2/mi ). There were 1,240 housing units at an average density of 131.9/km (341.5/mi ). The racial makeup of the borough was 99.33% White, 0.18% African American, 0.07% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.04% from other races, and 0.35% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.25% of the population.
