Hubbard is located at 45 °10 56 N, 122 °48 26 W (45.182351, -122.807331) GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.6 km (0.6 mi ), all land.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 2,483 people, 753 households, and 594 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,546.3/km (3,992.2/mi ). There were 799 housing units at an average density of 497.6/km (1,284.6/mi ). The racial makeup of the city was 68.87% White, 0.32% African American, 1.93% Native American, 0.48% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 25.61% from other races, and 2.66% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 32.66% of the population.

There were 753 households out of which 46.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.2% were married couples living together, 13.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.0% were non-families. 15.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.30 and the average family size was 3.67.
