Lyons is a city in Linn County, Oregon, United States. The population was 1,008 at the 2000 census. The center of population of Oregon is located in Lyons [1].

Lyons is located at 44 °46 19 N, 122 °36 22 W (44.771921, -122.606165) GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.2 km (0.9 mi ), all land.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 1,008 people, 372 households, and 296 families residing in the city. The population density was 452.5/km (1,165.8/mi ). There were 395 housing units at an average density of 177.3/km (456.8/mi ). The racial makeup of the city was 93.06% White, 1.79% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.20% Pacific Islander, 0.79% from other races, and 3.97% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.69% of the population.

There were 372 households out of which 31.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.4% were married couples living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.4% were non-families. 14.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.71 and the average family size was 2.94.
