Fairdale is a city in Walsh County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 51 at the 2000 census. Fairdale was founded in 1905. Fairdale is located at 48 °29 22 N, 98 °13 55 W (48.489485, -98.231936) GR1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 km (0.3 mi ), all land. As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 51 people, 26 households, and 15 families residing in the city. The population density was 63.5/km (164.0/mi ).
