Blandinsville is a village in McDonough County, Illinois, United States. The population was 777 at the 2000 census. Blandinsville is located at 40 °33 17 N, 90 °51 57 W (40.554794, -90.865703) GR1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.3 km (0.9 mi ), all land. Twin Oaks Golf course is on the western edge of town. As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 777 people, 339 households, and 224 families residing in the village. The population density was 340.9/km (878.2/mi ). There were 353 housing units at an average density of 154.9/km (399.0/mi ). The racial makeup of the village was 98.71% White, 0.13% Asian, 0.51% from other races, and 0.64% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.77% of the population. There were 339 households out of which 28.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.0% were married couples living together, 7.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.9% were non-families. 29.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
