Cissna Park is located at 40 °33 53 N, 87 °53 38 W (40.564674, -87.893988) GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.9 km (0.7 mi ), all land.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 811 people, 375 households, and 217 families residing in the village. The population density was 434.9/km (1,128.5/mi ). There were 400 housing units at an average density of 214.5/km (556.6/mi ). The racial makeup of the village was 99.14% White, 0.25% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.12% from other races, and 0.25% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.74% of the population.

There were 375 households out of which 22.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.7% were married couples living together, 9.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 41.9% were non-families. 38.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 24.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.12 and the average family size was 2.81.
