H na is a census-designated place (CDP) in Maui County, Hawai » i, United States. The population was 709 at the 2000 census. H na is located at the eastern end of the island of Maui and is one of the most isolated towns in the state. It is reached mainly via the H na Highway, a long, winding highway along Maui's northern shore.

Near H na are several swimming holes in the Haleakal National Park. H na has a small jetty and an airport with regular service.

H na is located at 20 °46 12 N, 155 °59 39 W (20.770017, -155.994179) GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 9.0 km (3.5 mi ). 5.6 km (2.2 mi ) of it is land and 3.4 km (1.3 mi ) of it (37.64%) is water.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 709 people, 191 households, and 139 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 126.2/km (326.0/mi ). There were 253 housing units at an average density of 45.0/km (116.3/mi ). The racial makeup of the CDP was 13.26% White, 0.14% African American, 6.91% Asian, 39.92% Pacific Islander, 0.28% from other races, and 39.49% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.35% of the population.
