According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 10.1 km (3.9 mi ). 9.8 km (3.8 mi ) of it is land and 0.3 km (0.1 mi ) of it (2.56%) is water.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 1,984 people, 711 households, and 531 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 201.6/km (521.7/mi ). There were 747 housing units at an average density of 75.9/km (196.4/mi ). The racial makeup of the CDP was 35.43% White, 0.25% African American, 0.25% Native American, 30.75% Asian, 5.54% Pacific Islander, 1.41% from other races, and 26.36% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11.79% of the population.

There were 711 households out of which 32.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.6% were married couples living together, 9.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.3% were non-families. 18.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.79 and the average family size was 3.18.
