Anahola is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kaua » i County, Hawai » i, United States. The population was 1,932 at the 2000 census.

Anahola is located at 22 °8 42 N, 159 °18 47 W (22.145049, -159.312969) GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 10.2 km (3.9 mi ). 9.7 km (3.8 mi ) of it is land and 0.5 km (0.2 mi ) of it (4.57%) is water.

As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 1,932 people, 549 households, and 422 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 198.9/km (514.8/mi ). There were 606 housing units at an average density of 62.4/km (161.5/mi ). The racial makeup of the CDP was 13.72% White, 0.36% African American, 0.47% Native American, 7.14% Asian, 47.72% Pacific Islander, 1.40% from other races, and 29.19% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 8.13% of the population.

There were 549 households out of which 36.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.2% were married couples living together, 17.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.0% were non-families. 14.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 3.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.52 and the average family size was 3.98.
