Red Devil is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bethel Census Area, Alaska, United States. The population was 48 at the 2000 census. Red Devil is located at 61 °47 0 N, 157 °20 13 W (61.783443, -157.336811) GR1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 68.3 km (26.4 mi ). 62.7 km (24.2 mi ) of it is land and 5.7 km (2.2 mi ) of it (8.34%) is water. As of the census GR2 of 2000, there were 48 people, 17 households, and 12 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 0.8/km (2.0/mi ). There were 22 housing units at an average density of 0.4/km (0.9/mi ). The racial makeup of the CDP was 45.83% White, 43.75% Native American, 2.08% from other races, and 8.33% from two or more races. 14.58% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 17 households out of which 35.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.1% were married couples living together, 17.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.4% were non-families. 29.4% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
