Prime cul-de-sac lot; best lot on the block by far! MUST SEE the backyard view: the lot backs up to a gorgeous wooded area. It's the main reason we bought the home 5 years ago. We would never leave except our family has outgrown the home. The neighborhood is terrific with over a dozen kids ranging in age from 17 (great babysitter) to 1-year-old. We feel very safe here.

The home is mostly neutral in wall colors and floor coverings, and the cabinets and trim are all light oak. There are built-in bookshelves on either side of the fireplace with cupboards beneath. We upgraded the flooring throughout the home with tile and higher-end carpeting. We have upgraded a few of the plumbing and lighting fixtures as well. We created a mud room space just in from the garage where our washer and dryer used to reside. There are built-in cubbies, coat hooks, a built-in bench and a utility sink in this space. With the wooded area being such an attraction for my husband and our children, the mud room was a must! We also added a microwave/vent above the stove and a water softener and drinking water system.

There is a 9'x12' shed in the backyard that does not interfere with the breath-taking view, and we just had it painted last fall. We also had the 12'x16' deck stained, the garage painted and the concrete foundation beneath the vinyl siding painted last fall. We have left the basement unfinished, but moved our washer and dryer down there with the plan of some day creating a laundry room near the furnace and water softener units with plenty of room for a bathroom in the same vicinity which would leave the majority of the basement space open for a rec room, a 4th bedroom (there is an egress window) and ample storage space. There is a total of 796 square feet of unfinished space in the basement (the same square footage as the main level).
